ARC reaches into the communities it serves to provide social, educational and rehabilitative services to over 200 clients and their families.

Today’s officers and directors, including many related to the original founders or current clients, are committed to bringing the very special services of this very, very special ARC to every individual who needs these services.

ARC Mission Statement

For 50 years, the Board of Directors, Staff and Employees have worked diligently to provide our Consumers with the services that were promised in the ARC Mission Statement below. Our dedicated service and concern fo reach individual Consumer has ensured this level of service, and we will continue to live up to our charge as we enter our next 50 years.

The ARC was established to provide residential habilitative services and recreational opportunities to developmentally disabled adults and senior citizens; to improve the quality of life of these individuals through integration into the community; to maximize each individual's capacity for independence; to provide opportunity for their continued growth; to advocate for their needs and to educate significant others and the community at large, thus stimulating awareness of the needs and concerns of this population.
